Diane Mitchell, PhD
Dr. Mitchell is a Staff Research Associate in Epidemiology. She received a PhD in Epidemiology from UC Davis. Dr. Mitchell has served as a project manager at UC Davis since 2001. She has worked on all aspects of epidemiological research projects focused on Occupational health from grant proposals, study design, in-field project coordination, data base administration and data analysis / research manuscript writing. Most recently she coordinated a study of the respiratory health of Latino dairy workers in the San Joaquin valley of California.
Heather Riden, MA
Heather Riden is the Program Manager for UC Davis’ Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) activities and acts as the program coordinator for the Migration and Health Research Center (MAHRC) and the Center of Expertise in Migration and Health (COEMH). She received a MA in Sociology from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining COEH, Heather worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she was the project manager of a study evaluating the impact of health care reform in Massachusetts on low-income women. Her other previous work includes managing research studies related to child abuse and neglect for the State of Washington and consulting for the Child Welfare League of America.
