Digital Strategist

Jen Biddle is a digital strategist and health communicator with 20 years of experience in journalism and digital media. A Bay Area native, she studied journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before returning to San Francisco where she built a career working for health websites as an editorial researcher, writer, video producer, and editor.
Now based in Sacramento, she develops digital strategy and communications for UC Davis’s Center for Occupational and Environmental Health, Environmental Health Sciences Center, and the Department of Public Health Sciences. Her work at the university has earned recognition from the National Academies of Sciences, American Public Health Association, and the Northern California Emmys.
Becoming a digital strategist was a natural progression for Jen, which she attributes to her wide range of interests and job skills. Combining a technical knowledge of algorithms and websites with her love of storytelling and obsession with engagement, she’s avid about leveraging the good that can come from health data and metrics.
Outside of work, Jen loves being a Californian and exploring its beautiful outdoor spaces, especially with her husband Kurt and two dogs.
